You have to try these Orange Ginger Vietnamese sliders! Suitable for the grill, sauté pan, or oven it will be tender and juicy. Radishes lend a little bit of heat and a nice crunch, and the citrus mayonnaise adds yet another layer of flavor. A little bit of Orange Ginger will be added to the mix and also used in basting after the sliders are flipped.
We are using slider buns for this recipe but if you have time, you should definitely make steamed buns for a more authentic dish. If you really want to bring out the citrus notes in the mayonnaise, spread it on the buns and grill them as you would a grilled cheese sandwich. This will intensify the essential oils in the zest and also add a crispy and smoky taste.
The recipe makes 8 – 2 ounce sliders, and the recipe is easily multiplied for larger gatherings.
