Steak Pomodoro (Mother)

They say a picture speaks a thousand words, this picture makes a plea. Try me, I’m much better than I look! What can I say I’m not a food stylist, I’m a creator. Denver steaks are perfect for braising, the process breaks down the meat to fork tender. Pomodoro sauce is out mother sauce with the addition of onions as told in my blog Tomato Sauce 101. It’s a hands-off recipe, great for a Sunday dinner or when you have a couple of hours to wait and enjoy the aromas.

4 Denver steaks

A Sweet onion sliced

A jar of Bulletproof Mother

1/2 jar of water

Parmesan for garnish

Warm a medium size skillet over medium high heat, when warm add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and add steaks. Cook for three minutes, flip, cook for an additional three minutes. Add onions, Mother sauce, and water. Cover, reduce heat to simmer and cook for two hours. Plate the steaks, garnish with Parmesan cheese. Add your favorite pasta to the remaining sauce, toss to coat, and serve.
